Does the total price include delivery and pickup?
Yes! Our standard dumpster rental price includes delivery and pickup within our regular service area, along with your 7-day rental period.
Sales tax is not included in the base rental price and will be added to your invoice.
Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside our regular service area, extended rental periods, excess weight, or special disposal items. We’ll go over your pricing with you before your rental so you know what to expect.
What items have extra charges when renting a dumpster?
Certain items require an additional disposal fee due to landfill and handling costs. These may include tires, mattresses, box springs, furniture, appliances, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning units, electronics, paint, and certain chemicals.
We provide a current list of items and applicable additional charges with each rental. If you’re unsure about an item, call us at 830-376-0002 before placing it in the dumpster. We'll let you know if it’s accepted and whether an additional fee applies
What is the typical rental period?
A typical rental period is seven days, unless a prior agreement is made.

How do I choose the right size?
11-yard — Small cleanouts, garage or closet junk, a bathroom remodel. Fits about 1.5 tons.
13-yard Kitchen remodel, flooring tear-out, or a medium household cleanout. About 2 tons.
15-yard Whole-house cleanout, roofing on a smaller home, or a mix of demo and junk. About 2.5 tons.
20-yard — Construction debris, larger roofing jobs, or a full garage-plus-house cleanout. About 3 tons.
25-yard — Big demo, storm cleanup, or contractor jobs with a lot of volume. About 3.5 tons.
If you’re between sizes, go up one. Weight matters as much as space — dirt, concrete, and shingles fill a dumpster by the ton faster than furniture does.

What tonnage is included?
11-yard dumpster: 1.5 tons included.
13-yard dumpster: 2 tons included.
15-yard dumpster: 2.5 tons included.
20-yard dumpster: 3 tons included.
25-yard dumpster: 3.5 tons included.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No, you do not need to be home. You can also send us a picture of where you want the dumpster placed if you’re not home.
Where do you place the dumpster?
We place the dumpster on a driveway or another firm, level surface with safe access for our truck. Please make sure the placement area is clear of vehicles, low branches, wires, gates, and other obstacles before delivery.
What items do you not accept?
With everyone's safety in mind, there are some items we don't accept.
● Ammunition, Fireworks, Fire Extinguishers.
● Gasoline, Fuels, Diesel, or Propane Tanks or other Hazardous Combustibles.
● Paint.
● No Household Batteries.
● Deceased Animals, Animal Waste, or Hunting Refuse of any kind.
● Household Garbage, Food Waste, Compost, Bodily Waste, Diapers — belong bagged in your regularly scheduled trash service.
● Tires
● Appliances
What about dirt, concrete, rock, shingles?
Dirt, rock, concrete, shingles, and other heavy materials are accepted only within the dumpster's weight restrictions and included tonnage. Please contact Cross A Rentals before loading heavy materials so we can help you choose the right dumpster and confirm any applicable charges.
What is the overload fee / water-level rule?
Please keep all materials level with or below the top of the dumpster so the tarp can cover the load safely. An overload fee of $85 per ton applies to any material above the included tonnage.
What areas do you serve?
